Comedy writer Janis Hirsch says that she was persistently harassed at her workplace and that caused her to leave her job as a staff writer on the show called “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show”. The first two episodes that she wrote were well received by the audience but then she found herself being excluded from all male writers’ room. She was told to quit her job by the producer after an incident where a male actor joked about draping his flaccid penis on her shoulder.
