Aokigahara “Suicide” Forest, Japan

Located in the north-west base of Mt. Fuji, it covers the area of more than 8600-acre. This forest is so dense that there is the scarcity of wildlife. According to Japanese mythology, Aokighara forest is the place of demons and human spirits. In the 1950’s, 500 people committed suicide unknowingly. People also call it, ‘The perfect place to Die’.
