7. Fadlouth, Senegal
One of the most interesting facts about this town is that this whole town sprung from a clam shell and that thousands and thousands of these shells came together to give it its present look. This island boasts of granaries on stilts in the water. What’s more amazing is a sperate clam shell that works as the village’s cemetery.
