16. Laverne Cox (Sophia)
There are some characters who have undergone such a dramatic evolution or transformation. Sophia Burset, a transgender inmate is played by Transgender actress Laverne Cox. She runs the facility’s salon. Given that she is a beautician she looks great in the series until things turn bad. When Burset gets locked in a confinement, we see her without makeup and all this is far away from her red carpet look which is nothing less than perfection. Cox is known for her spotless makeup, radiant complexion and spectacular wardrobe choices.
